Loty Negarti (known as Aitor Izagirre), Bilbao 1982. Is a Basque artist focused in music, film and poetry. His work deals mainly with action, distortion and space. He is searching a permanent-collaboration in different contexts trying to regularly come back to a more individual level of action, previous to the next encounter with the others (the hell). He is interested in the reactivation in art of some basic ideas coming from constructivism.

His music moves consciously between the delicate borders of improvisation (orality) and composition (plans-writing). He approaches musical practice from a cheap way focusing in murky sounds and simple rule games-structures.
He produces recordings, make performances, installations and more and, sometimes scores.

In the last years he has been actively involved in the Basque experimental music scene (mainly mrb/amm, Larraskito, igua, ertz ¿podrias ayudarme a salir un poco de éstos circulitos? ¿lagundu nazakezu zirkulo txiki hauetatik irteten?) collaborating with many other artists. Mubles, Plu De Mekanisms, Huts Egin or Pidgin are three of the ongoing projects he is actually co-developing with other musicians. He has been organizing concerts and taking part in different collectives (Arto Artian, Gatza) where they try(ed) to find social autonomous situations, considering these activities as a natural and necessary continuation of the very practice of making music and art in general.

Loty Negarti (conocido como Aitor Izagirre) es una persona. Nace Bilbao 1982. De la convergencia en una fábrica de cazuelas de una familia de arquitectos fúnebres con otra de panaderos. Vive y trabaja entre Herrera e Ibaeta (Donosti). Preocupado e investigando sobre una teoría de la acción para la estética (agencia y estética). Es un artista que se mueve en campos como los de la música, las películas, la escultura o la poesía. Le interesan la acción, la distorsión y el espacio/tiempo. Trabaja buscando permanentemente colaboraciones diversas en múltiples contextos, para luego retirarse a un nivel más invidual de acción. Está interesado en la reactivación de algunas ideas fundamentales del constructivismo. Todos sus trabajos reproducibles son Copyleft o Dominio Público.

NO CV POLICY

I adopte a No CV policy. The idea behind this policy is to avoid people judging or knowing others for the things that are written on a CV. There is a contemporary illness that we can observe in what I call the cv-syndrome. It's clear that people with an impressing CV can have a pathetic production, and a pathetic life, therefore I believe a CV means not too much and sometimes nothing at all. I wish to promote a way of knowing each other that can avoid CVs' representational logic. If you want to know more about things I do, I kindly invite you to spend some time at the works you can find on this site. I would also like to encourage you to adopt this same policy. I would like to thank Diego Chamy for encouragin me to adopt this policy.

Adopto una política antagónica al CV. La idea es desmontar los juicios o el conocimiento de unas personas hacia otras a través de las lineas escritas en un curriculum vitae. Hay una enfermedad contemporanea en lo que llamo el síndrome del curriculum. Está claro que personas con un impresionante CV pueden tener una vida lamentable, y por eso creo que el CV no significa múcho o nada en absoluto. Nos gustaría promover una manera de (re)conocernos las unas a las otras distinta a la del clásico CV.
